    When you create your account, we’ll generate an ‘Upload Link’ for you.

    We’ll send this to your assigned Filmers the day after the wedding to collect their clips. You can also share it with anyone you like to collect more videos.

    Clips can be submitted in any orientation, but when you purchase a highlights film from us you’ll have the choice of landscape or portrait. We recommend clips are filmed in the matching orientation.

    You can assign up to 10 people as Filmers. However any number of guests can add clips via your shareable Upload Link.

    Almost every smartphone in use today can film in 4K at 60 frames per second. We believe that’s plenty good enough!

    That said, we don’t believe the quality is the most important thing. We like to focus on creating fun, unique videos that are personal to you and your day.

    After creating an account, you’ll have the option of purchasing a highlights film. These vary in length and orientation.

    For any edits purchased before your wedding date, we’ll get them back to you within 28 days.

    Creating an account is free, and for this you’ll get:

    • Upload Link for your guests to add their clips
    • Access to download all these clips after the wedding
    • Ability to assign Filmers, who will be sent free advice via SMS

    You then have the option of purchasing a highlights film, edited by one of our professional video editors. This also comes with a Planning Pack and a mini mobile tripod.

    Our Story

    When we got married in the summer of 2022, our guests captured many moments from the day on their phones.

    While it initially posed a challenge to gather and compile all the clips, we persevered… and ultimately edited them together, making our own highlights film. We found the video not only conveyed the essence of our wedding day, but also offered a unique and intimate perspective – how it was seen through the eyes of our nearest and dearest.

    We felt there had to be an easier way to organise everyone en masse and collect their footage in, and this is how FIY Wedding was born – a platform dedicated to empowering couples like us to involve their friends in capturing the magic of their wedding day.
